Teisha was born and raised in the outback-mining town of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. From the age of four Teisha trained to become a professional ballet dancer before she was a model - scouted at the tender age of 18. After competing in the national Girlfriend Magazine model search, Teisha’s modeling career saw her become the face of a number of high profile international and national advertising campaigns, including Volkswagen, Tourism Victoria and Triumph Lingerie.

With maturity, Teisha is passionate about promoting environmental causes including campaigns for the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation, deforestation for the use of Palm Oil and disaster relief in Australia. Her environmental efforts have been recognized by numerous publications including The Age, InStyle Magazine, Green Magazine & Wellbeing Magazine just to name a few.

Her first feature film debut in the Bollywood blockbuster “Salaam Namaste” which sparked her interest in film. Teisha went on to study television and broadcasting which helped her secure a co-host position on Channel 9’s “The Boat Show”. Recently, her lead role in the short film “Adrift” was an official selection at the LA Indie Film Festival and the Innovative Film Festival, Tampa Florida.

Teisha has studied with some of the finest acting and voice coaches in Australia some including, Peter Kalos of Melbourne Actor’s Lab for two years and then later at 16th Street Actor’s Studio where she regularly attends Master Classes and Professional Series including Kim Krejus, Bronwyn Coleman and Suzanne Heywood.

To take her commitment to acting to another level, Teisha has been privately training with Sarah Victoria in PEM (Perdekamp Emotional Method) an emerging acting method which has expanded her career in more ways than one.

Always expanding her mind and body, Teisha enjoys progressive fitness which requires anatomical awareness biomechanical coordination and trains professionally in Krav Maga, a military self-defense and fighting system developed for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israeli security forces.

Teisha has certainly proven herself as a savvy businesswoman, establishing her own company INDAH in 2008, which is now recognised globally as a favorite organic health and beauty brand.

In 2014 Teisha and her husband Darren Cox opened doors to one of Melbourne's most unique holistic performance studio called TOTAL REFORMATION. Teisha has received training from the worldly recognized C.H.E.K Institute as a Holistic Lifestyle Coach, and also qualifies as a Personal Trainer, Master Aromatherapist, and Natural Therapist specialising in Clinical Nutrition and Herbal Therapy.
